So What is Unique About Ayurveda

In Ayurveda the approach and sessions to a disorder is unique. For example, the two great biologists of past century, Louis Pasteur & Claude Bernard, argued all their lives about the most important factor for a particular disease – whether it is because of “the soil" - ''the human body'' or ''the germ'' – the disease causing microbe. On his deathbed, Pasteur accepted that Bernard had been correct, by declaring, "it is the soil” (the state of human body).

Long before Bernard, Ayurveda defines that it is the ability of the body to protect itself from diseases that decides the intensity of the malady. In fact putting the blame on a microbe for the cause of a disease has always been soothing for the patients' ego, as it allows them to be a victim of circumstances, and allows them not to admit their conscious or unconscious errors. &around the city due to inefficient waste management, this can lead to rodent attacks. It is not the rodent that is to be got rid of, but the waste. Invariably, any new comer to the place seeing the trash piled up, might feel it is brought in by the rodents.

In the same way the rodents in the city can be compared the microbes in the body and toxins are the trash which can be removed only by clearing the waste or trash inside the body. The waste removal system is enhanced by following the age-old techniques in Ayurveda, whereby there is no time for the microbe to infest and cause a disease. Thereby, keeping the system clean, healthy and at its natural peak vitality.

Yoga Programme

Yoga is an ancient Indian practice that dates back to 2500 BC, possibly even earlier. Yoga, the science of man, based on ancient Indian wisdom and culture, is an art of living a healthy, balanced, peaceful and contented life. It is a scientific system designed to bring the practitioners health, happiness, and a greater sense of Self.

In Yoga, the body and mind are linked to create a state of internal peacefulness and integration. At the practical level, and included in the contemporary definitions of Yoga, are the actual physiological/mental techniques themselves. These techniques concentrate on posture and alignment, as well as create a higher consciousness. Yoga utilizes stretching postures, breathing, and meditation techniques to calm the emotional state and the mind, and tone the body.
